About PakClimate

Pakistan's climate, made easier to explore.

PakClimate is an independent climate archive built to make Pakistan's historical and current climate information easier to explore, compare and understand.

What PakClimate does

PakClimate brings climate information together through city archives, historical records, climate profiles, seasonal and monthly summaries, date-specific searches, extremes, long-term views and year-to-year comparisons. The aim is to make detailed climate information accessible without losing the identity of the underlying source.

Why PakClimate exists

Credible climate datasets are extensive, but they can be difficult to explore in a simple, city-focused way. PakClimate presents those records through a clear interface while retaining source provenance so that visitors can see where the displayed information comes from.

How the archive is built

PakClimate uses established observational and reanalysis datasets alongside the PakClimate Forward Archive. Sources remain identified rather than being silently blended, and the archive is progressively expanded in geographic coverage, historical depth and available climate parameters.
